Honey Bees are going missing!

It is a mystery that currently has scientists baffled. Why are bees disappearing all over the world???

One of the main reasons scientists suspect is the possibility that cell phone radio frequencies may be hindering the bees from locating their hives and possibly making them sick so they never return to their hive. In some areas over 40% of the hives are empty.

Bees are vital to our food supply. Bees from one hive can visit a million flowers within a 400 square kilometre area in just one day. Fruit and vegetable crops depend on bee pollination.

The humble little bumblers pollinate everything from melons to pumpkins, raspberries to all kinds of fruit trees, as well as animal fodder, like clover.

It is estimated that bees are more important than poultry in terms of human nutrition. Even Albert Einstein once predicted that if there were no more bees, there would be no more us!

So where are the missing bees? Nobody seems to know for sure, but, plenty of scientists are working on it!

The next time you are out and about, "bee" on the lookout for the little guys and if they ask, do your part and give them directions to the nearest hive!

We don't have much on Eli. We liked his design idea about bees going missing. But, much like the bees, Eli went missing too!

So, where ever you are Eli, we hope you're well. Maybe, just maybe, Eli was a special bee, sent by the bees to get humans to help them.

If that's true, then we're honoured they chose Teesub to get their message out. Geez, we never knew bees knew how to Google t shirts!
